Global Public Service Academies
Students Making a Difference

What can you do with four weeks of your summer?
Improve health care for hundreds of children.
Help the environment.
Make a difference.

The Global Public Service Academies were founded with an understanding that students from high school through college can make a difference in the world.  All of our academies are summer experiences in the developing world formed around a educational collaboration with MIT, Duke and FGCU.  We know that working with US faculty in an international setting allows students to learn and contribute in ways that a domestic summer camp or volunteer experience can't.

As a participant, you'll work along side a faculty member in the classroom and in a developing world setting.   Every day, you'll be working to improve health care for the poor or to protect a fragile ecosystem. You'll stay with a local family.  You'll get to know what their life is like firsthand.  Most importantly, you'll be making a difference.

Each academy is limited to 30 students per location, so it is important to get your application in on time.  Visit our academies to find out more and to apply.
